About
Draženka Dada Čajić was born in Banja Luka. She has been living and working in Belgrade since 2005, and is a member of The Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia.
Dada's painting poetics can be sought in between realism and fantasy. The figural and spatial reality of Dada's depiction is relative, in a way dependent on what has been seen or imagined, experienced or dreamt, real or surreal. Somewhere in that inner timeless spirituality, one can look for the interpretation of what has been portrayed in Dada's paintings. Visiting her expanse, feeling the figure or interpreting the decorative details within her continuum, is surely inviting and draws one inside the atmospheric mystique.
